Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This is Shadowrocket Official Guide. This policy explains what information is handled when you visit this site and applies only to its pages and interactions. It does not replace the privacy information provided within the Shadowrocket app or the terms that apply on the App Store.
1. Scope and Visit Data
This static site provides purchase guidance, setup tutorials, and technical information. It does not offer user registration, sign-in, or email submission forms. You can read the guide without providing your name, phone number, payment details, or Apple Account information.
When your browser requests a page, the server hosting this site may log your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and device information provided by your browser. This information is used to deliver pages, detect unusual traffic, and troubleshoot issues. It is not the same as connection logs within the app.
Do not include subscription URLs, server passwords, or other connection credentials in page URL parameters; they may appear in access logs. Manage your existing subscription or server details in the app by following the guide. This site does not receive or store those configurations.
2. Analytics and How We Use It
We use analytics to understand page views, common entry points, device categories, and navigation patterns. This helps us organize content, check links, and improve reading on smaller screens. On the download guide, clicking the App Store button also records a store-link click event.
This event helps us understand how the link is used. It does not confirm a purchase and does not include order totals, payment credentials, or Apple Account information. Analytics data and site operation logs cover different information; visit counts should not be interpreted as app purchases or user numbers.
You do not need to provide your real identity to read this site. Browser settings or content blockers may prevent some analytics data from being collected. We use the available data only as a reference for maintaining the content.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
You do not need a personal account to use page navigation or native expandable FAQs. A tab selection may be preserved in the address bar as a fragment identifier. This URL state is not a cookie and does not contain connection credentials.
Depending on how analytics tools are deployed, they may use cookies or browser storage to identify a visit session. Your browser may also cache pages, fonts, and images for faster loading on return visits. Cache, local storage, and server access logs are separate types of data.
Use your browser’s site data settings to view, restrict, or clear cookies, local storage, and cache. Restricting these features may affect analytics or the restoration of some page states, but the main content remains available. Clearing browser data does not remove access logs already recorded by the server.
4. App Store and Information Boundaries
The App Store is the only place to get Shadowrocket. Our purchase guide links to the Shadowrocket product page, operated by Apple. Once you leave this site, account verification, purchases, payments, and refunds are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
This site does not process payments or access Apple Account passwords or order details. Check the App Store listing for device compatibility, system requirements, and purchase eligibility. For information about how the app handles data on your device, consult the store listing and the relevant in-app information.
A one-time purchase of the app is not a subscription to a proxy service. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend servers, subscriptions, or connection services. The guide only explains how to use subscription or server details you already have.
5. Policy Updates and Further Help
If site features, analytics methods, or the scope of information handling change, this page will be updated and the last-updated month at the top will be revised. Refer to the current policy on this page. If a new feature requests information that requires a separate explanation, its purpose and scope will be stated at the relevant entry point.
This page does not provide a way to upload privacy documents or submit an email address. For purchase and first-use questions, see the download guide. For subscription imports, configuration checks, and connection troubleshooting, see the user guide. When reading or troubleshooting, do not share complete logs containing subscription URLs, passwords, or other credentials.
